At PosterJunkie, you can choose from various high-quality materials to perfectly showcase your favorite artwork. On this page, we clearly explain the differences between the available options: alu-dibond, canvas, plexiglass, acoustic panel, textile frame, textile poster, and posters. This way, you can easily determine which material best suits your wishes and your space.

Alu dibond

Matte finish

Full color print

If you are looking for wall decoration that stands out, a print on aluminum dibond is an excellent choice. The full-color printing truly pops off the plate. Dibond designs are highly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Aluminum dibond panels are lightweight plates composed of three layers. The outer layers are made of 0.3 mm thick aluminum, and the core is made of black plastic, also known as polyethylene. The entire panel is 3 mm thick.

For indoors and outdoors

Alu-dibond is an aluminium sandwich panel which, due to its construction, is stiff and very lightweight, as well as durable. Thanks to its excellent product properties for indoor and outdoor use, a poster on dibond is a perfect choice for your art in the living room or in the garden.

Plexiglass

Gloss finish

Crystal-clear print

The designs are printed on crystal clear plexiglass, 5mm thick. The full-color print of the design is applied to the back of the panel and finished with a white layer, ensuring the plexiglass poster is opaque everywhere. On plexiglass, colors and contrasts of designs really stand out. It is, just like regular glass, a glossy material. So if you dare to shine, this is the choice for you.

To hang

For sizes up to 70 x 100 cm, these will be delivered with a self-adhesive hanging plate. Sizes 80 x 120 cm and larger will be delivered with the blind hanging system.

Canvas

Optional with tray frame

Stretched on wooden frame

Canvas is a material that needs little explanation. It consists of a canvas stretched over a wooden frame of 18 mm thick. The whole gives a nice spatial effect on the wall. The print on the canvas will get a matte look due to the material.

Canvas is 100% cotton. It is a strong and low-maintenance material for indoor use. The canvas texture remains visible in the print.

Floating Frame

You can choose a tray frame for your canvas. Your canvas will then be mounted in a wooden tray frame for an extra elegant look.

Acoustic
Panel

Improved acoustics

Sound absorbing

The Acoustic panel consists of four different layers. The top layer has a sharp print and special point bonding, so that the structure remains open for sound absorption. After a sound-permeable intermediate layer, which dampens the mid-tones, comes the acoustic material. This is 90% made from the cotton fibers of mechanically recycled jeans. This means that the textile is pulled apart by a machine to a fiber level.

Reduced reverberation

The long cotton fibers ensure that sound waves are well absorbed. This drastically reduces noise pollution and decreases reverberation. The entire system is also sealed with sound-damping mid-tones.

Textile frame

Crease-free fabric

High-quality print

The textile fabric is made from Dekostof. The material is characterized by powerful colours, a matte appearance and is ideal for indoor applications. The flexible polyester fabric has a fine structure and absorbs light instead of reflecting it. This ensures the print is always visible.

Interchangeable fabric

You can choose from three frame colours (black, white, and aluminium). Tired of the design? No problem! The fabric can be easily replaced, making the frame incredibly versatile.

Paper

250 grams

Luxury Posters

Choosing the right paper for posters is crucial. After extensively studying various print proofs, PosterJunkie decided to use 250-gram matte photo paper, finished with a single-sided lamination. The paper is very thick, allowing it to absorb ink well without warping.

Laminate layer

The laminate layer provides extra protection against UV light (to prevent discolouration) and moisture. Since a poster on paper is cheaper than other materials, you can easily switch up your designs in the frame.

The paper posters are delivered without a frame.
