Nice to meet you
I was born a Dutch artist in Eindhoven. In my original artworks I weave my photography, different paper types and the wealth of acrylic paints and ink with the expressive lines of Pastelkrijt and pencil. This diverse palette enables me to bring my vision to life, with each work a unique exploration of texture and shape.
The mixed media/collages reveal the careful process that is below the surface. Each layer, carefully chosen and carefully placed, is an integral part of the final work of art, proof of the dedication and careful preparation that has been put into each work.
My artistic passion lies in the power of reinventing, in the ability to find unexpected beauty in the world around me. Inspired by weathered walls decorated with peeling paint, faded posters and old photos, I strive to breathe new life into this aesthetics and transform it with a critical artistic eye. My ultimate goal is to catch the essence of making something beautiful out of decline, a feeling that is reflected in every work of art that I make.
Every element, seamlessly intertwined, contributes to the creation of dreamy and suggestive images, which invite the viewer to go with me on a journey of wonder and contemplation.
